How to Mark Up an Image Online
Mark up a screenshot, design or photograph with circles, arrows and short notes before sharing feedback.
Markup is most useful when the recipient can understand the request without a follow-up call. The goal is not to decorate the image; it is to locate a decision.
Pick the source
Open an image or screenshot in the Framink studio. For a web page, you can paste its URL to capture a screenshot of the visible page for review. Check that the captured portion contains the element you want to discuss.
Build a visual hierarchy
Circle the problem area, use an arrow for the proposed direction and add one brief comment. Number separate requests in your text if there are several. Do not use a dense cluster of overlapping marks where the original becomes impossible to see.
Deliver the markup
Export the annotated image for a fast exchange, or put it in a project for another review round. For a comparison of terminology, read image annotation vs image markup.
Try it on your own file
Drop a video, image, PDF or 3D model and start annotating. No account needed.
