How to Annotate an Image Online

Add precise notes to an image in your browser: choose a file, mark the exact area, and share a clear visual correction.

An image annotation is a note attached to something you can actually see. Instead of saying “move that element,” show which element and where it should go.

Start with the image

Open Framink and drop an image into the studio. A quick review starts in the browser without creating an account. Choose the pen for a freehand correction, an arrow to point at an object, or a shape to frame a region.

Make each note actionable

Circle the area, then write what should change: “Increase contrast on this label” is more useful than “This looks wrong.” Keep unrelated corrections separate so each one can be addressed independently.

Send the result

For a one-off review, export the annotated image. For ongoing work, create a project and share access with the people reviewing it. If you need a different kind of mark, see image markup versus annotation.

Try it on your own file

Drop a video, image, PDF or 3D model and start annotating. No account needed.
