An illustrator can understand a proposed gesture or silhouette more quickly from a light sketch than from a long email.

Draw with restraint

Load an exported illustration into the Framink studio. Sketch the proposed contour or pose in a contrasting colour, then add a note explaining the intent: “Make the shoulder line read more clearly.” Avoid covering the original linework with thick marks.
