How to Annotate a PDF Online

Review PDF pages visually in a browser, draw on the relevant page, and send specific corrections.

A PDF review can become a trail of messages like “page 12, lower right.” Drawing on the page is less ambiguous.

Prepare the document

Drop a PDF into Framink. The browser prepares each page as a frame in the studio, so you can move between pages using the timeline and page thumbnails. Preparation can take time for a large document; the current limit is 300 pages.

Comment on the exact page

Choose the page, mark the element with a shape or pen, then write the change you want. For a layout review, say what should move and where. For a storyboard, mark the shot and explain the timing or composition issue.

Send visual feedback

Export the annotated feedback, or use a project when several people need to review the same document. Framink is for visual review: it does not replace a PDF editor for changing the underlying text or pages. See PDF review for teams.

Try it on your own file

Drop a video, image, PDF or 3D model and start annotating. No account needed.
