Annotating 3D models in the browser: GLB, GLTF, OBJ and FBX

How to review 3D assets without installing a DCC tool: pin notes in 3D space, save camera views and draw over the viewport.

2 October 2026

Reviewing a 3D asset usually means sending screenshots back and forth. A browser viewer makes it faster.

Supported formats

Framink accepts GLB, GLTF, OBJ and FBX. Files are converted to GLB in the browser before display. Native Maya, Blender or 3ds Max files are not supported; export to GLB first.

Notes that keep their camera

Each note remembers the camera position and animation time, so the artist sees exactly what you saw.

Same workflow as video

3D notes use the same thumbnails, comments, Done status and sharing as image and video feedback.

Try it on your own file

Drop a video, image, PDF or 3D model and start annotating. No account needed.
